The NPD Group Acquires Solarbuzz

Port Washington, NY; March 1, 2010. The NPD Group, a consumer and retail information specialist, has announced the acquisition of Solarbuzz LLC, an international solar energy market research and consulting company. Solarbuzz will operate in conjunction with The NPD Group Company's DisplaySearch, a leading flat-panel display and electronics market research and consulting firm.

UDC Honored by U.S. Department of Energy

Ewing, New Jersey; February 16, 2010. Technology developer Universal Display Corporation was recently honored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for its advances in white OLED lighting performance. The company was recognized during 'Transformations in Lighting', the DOE's annual Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Workshop, held February 2-4 in Raleigh, NC.

UniPixel Announces Strategic Relationship with Avery Dennison

The Woodlands, TX; February 9, 2010. UniPixel, Inc., the developer of a color display technology called Time Multiplexed Optical Shutter (TMOS) and of thin-film materials branded under the name Opcuity that incorporate advanced micro-structure technology, has announced a strategic relationship with Avery Dennison, a maker of identification and decorative solutions including pressure-sensitive labeling materials and RFID inlays and tags.
