Kortrijk, Belgium; September 4, 2009. Visualization company Barco has announced the addition of a new 30-inch wide-screen display to its family of rugged HD displays According to the company, the high-resolution HD-30 is the largest ergonomically efficient single-operator display on the defense market today. It is qualified for a ground control station environment.

The HD-30 provides WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution, allowing operators to perform accurate mission planning and present digital maps in their native format. The HD-30's response time allows fast-moving images to be reproduced with accuracy, while the display's wide viewing angle is convenient for collaborative use by multiple viewers.
